Lynx Have 3 Players Named All-Star Reserves
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Lynx have added three more players to the Western Conference All-Star team.
Forwards Seimone Augustus and Rebekkah Brunson and guard Lindsay Whalen were selected reserves for the West on Tuesday. With Maya Moore voted in as a starter, that brings the Lynx All-Star contingent to a franchise-record four players.
Prior to this year, the Lynx had never had more than two players on the All-Star team.
Augustus leads the team with 15.2 points per game, Brunson leads the league in rebounding and shooting percentage and Whalen is second in the league in assists per game.
The game will be held on July 23 in San Antonio, Tex.
