Lynx Championship Parade Route Set For Friday
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Lynx are celebrating their third WNBA championship with a parade and pep rally Friday.
The Minnesota dynasty clinched their third championship in five years Wednesday night on their home court at the Target Center. The team beat the Indiana Fever 69 – 52.
To celebrate their win, the team will host a parade beginning at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16.
The parade will being on the corner of 12th Street and Hennepin Avenue. It will turn down 7th Street to head toward the Target Center.
Once at the Target Center a party will be held in their honor, complete with a video commemorating the Lynx season.
Both events are free and open to the public.
