Love To Compete In NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love will be a busy man over the NBA All-Star weekend, which starts Feb. 24.
In addition to being a Western Conference reserve, Love will be competing in the three-point shootout contest, the NBA announced Wednesday. He's the first Timberwolves player to participate in the three-point shootout.
Love has made a team-high 44 3-pointers this season and made more than 36 percent of his shots from the perimeter.
He'll be competing against James Jones and Mario Chalmers of the Miami Heat, Ryan Anderson of the Orlando Magic, Anthony Morrow of the New Jersey Nets and Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks.
