Love Named To Western Conference All-Star Team
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love has been named to the Western Conference All-Star team for the second year in a row.
This time, there wasn't nearly as much suspense. Love was voted by the coaches as a reserve on Thursday night.
That's a big difference from last year, when he didn't get into the game until he was named as an injury replacement for Yao Ming.
Love says he's honored to be voted in. He also says he plans to participate in the 3-point shootout in Orlando, Fla.
Love says it wasn't as emotional for him this time around, and he's hoping this year will be a little low-key so he can just be himself.
