'Looks Like We've Been Hacked': Mpls. Police Tweet
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minneapolis Police Department said their Twitter account had been hacked Monday evening after it offered the department's 2,382 followers a couple of weight loss links.
At about 7 p.m., the department (@MPD_PIO) asked followers to disregard two tweets linking to some weight loss product claiming to help users drop up to 25 pounds in a month.
"Looks like we've been hacked," the tweet read.
