Locally Laid Egg Co. Gunning For Super Bowl Berth
WRENSHALL, Minn. (WCCO) -- A local egg company has been named one of four finalists competing to have their ad played at this year's Super Bowl in February.
Locally Laid Egg Company has already beat out thousands of others to get this far and now they need your help to get more votes.
Owners Lucy and Jason Amundsen, along with their kids and the Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Dave Frederickson, recently visited the Seward Co-Op in south Minneapolis to drum up local support for their bid in the contest.
"It is really good to be able to sell directly to businesses and restaurants because that's what makes a farm sustainable," Lucy Amundsen said.
They hope the ad will get the country talking about locally-produced food.
