Lemonade Stand Raises Funds For Boy With Neuroblastoma
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The weather wasn't quite sunny or warm enough to have people craving lemonade, but plenty of drivers did stop for a bright yellow stand in Chaska.
On Tuesday morning, Chaska students with the Stepping Stones program hosted an Alex's Lemonade Stand. The national program supports childhood cancer research.
They're highlighting a local kid named Brayden, who is 6 years old and has neuroblastoma.
Their goal is to raise $2,000 for Brayden.
In addition to the lemonade money, the students have also received some community donations.
