Last Victim Of Mpls. Tornado Soon To Be Discharged

ROBBINSDALE, Minn. (AP) -- The second of two people hospitalized after a tornado hit the north side of Minneapolis is expected to soon be discharged from North Memorial hospital.

Hospital spokesman Mark Vukelich says the hospital treated 39 people on Sunday for injuries from the tornado and another four on Monday. Of those, only two were admitted to the hospital.

He says one of those admitted had already been discharged by Tuesday morning and the second was expected to leave by the end of the day.

In addition to the dozens injured, two people died in the storm and its aftermath.
