Large Pot-Growing Operation Found In Askov, Minn.
ASKOV, Minn. (WCCO) -- A large marijuana growing operation was discovered in Askov, Minn. Tuesday, according to the Pine County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say a drug investigation led them to a large commercial building, where they executed a search warrant. Inside, a large hydroponic marijuana growing operation was found inside a hidden room.
The operation included 400 plants, which ranged from 2 inches to 5 feet tall. The estimated street value was $150,000.
After the pot bust, authorities executed a search warrant at the suspect's house in Barnum. Another large hydroponic marijuana growing operation was discovered in the upstairs of the garage.
Charges are pending.
