Lane Closure On 35W During Holiday Travel Week
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A ribbon and bow were placed on the multi-year Interstate 35W-Crosstown project just this last week, as entrances, exits and new lanes were all made readily available to motorists.
And just like that, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced some drivers may experience extra congestion during a week of holiday travel.
MnDOT said they plan to close the right lane of southbound I-35W at Minnehaha Parkway in Minneapolis every weekday next week between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The lane closures are so crews will be working to adjust the railings on the bridge over Minnehaha Parkway.
