Landscape Arboretum Hosting 'Ar-Boo-Retum' Halloween
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Little ghosts and goblins are taking over the University of Minnesota's Arboretum in Chaska this Halloween.
The "Ar -BOO-retum" event will provide a safe, family friendly way to enjoy a day of Halloween fun for families and children. The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska is all decked out for the event with a scarecrow, fall decorations and a Halloween look.
The event runs all day in Chaska and featured events for kids including trick-or-treating and storytelling. The event is free for everyone, but with a catch. Everyone in attendance must be in costume to get in free.
Barb DeGroot with the Arboretum said there will be free apples and cookies in the gift store. It's the perfect event for families who want to have some Halloween fun, dress in costume minus the scare.
