Lakeville Fireplace Company Issues Massive Recall
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Lakeville-based Hearth & Home Technologies is recalling around 20,000 units of gas fireplaces, stoves, inserts and log sets due to a risk of gas leak and fire hazard.
The recall includes the company's Heat-N-Glo, Heatilator, Outdoor Lifestyles and Quadra Fire natural or propane gas indoor and outdoor fireplaces, stoves, inserts and log sets.
Consumers are asked to immediately stop using the units, turn off the gas to them and contact the fireplace store where the unit was purchased to arrange a free inspection and – if necessary – valve replacement.
