Lakeville Board Votes To Close Elementary School
LAKEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) -- The shutdown of an elementary school means one district has to figure out where to send all the students, as Lakeville's School Board voted Tuesday night to close Crystal Lake Elementary.
The district is $16 million short over the next two years.
Its new budget included plans to close one of the nine elementary schools, and that turned out to be Crystal Lake.
The district will redraw its boundaries and move teachers and students within the district.
