Kevin Love Releases 'Saxy' Video For Coat Drive
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- What would inspire people to give their new and gently used coats to help those in need this winter? How about Kevin Love in a shaggy wig and trench coat, playing some smooth sax.
The Timberwolves All-Star has released a new video he wrote and produced doing just that. Love, in a partnership with Comcast and The Salvation Army, will host the coat drive on Dec. 12.
Fans can bring their coats to any of the eight metro-area drop-off locations, including the Target Center Box Office and Comcast service centers. Love will then deliver all the donations to The Salvation Army on Dec. 19.
The video, which also features several of Love's teammates, has been titled, "The Session," and was recently posted on YouTube.
Love's 5th annual coat drive has already collected 250 coats. Love will also pose for photos with fans at the Inver Grove Heights Best Buy on Dec. 9 to support the cause. Fans are encouraged to bring their coats then.
