Kayaker Finds Body In Red River, Foul Play Not Suspected
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in Moorhead say foul play is not suspected after a kayaker found a body Wednesday on the Red River.
City officials in Moorhead say police and fire personnel responded to a call about the body around 6:20 p.m.
The body was found about 50 yards north of the railroad bridge east of Hjemkomst Center.
Officials said the body was that of a woman between the ages of 30 and 50. It was removed from the river.
The woman's identity is not yet known.
