Jordana's Blog: Spring Projects
I think I willed our deck into existence.
We are doing some major landscape projects this spring, and I have been counting the seconds until we can start.
The minute the groundhog did not see his shadow this year, I called our contractor and asked her when can they dig the footings?
She appropriately told me to chill as we still needed a week or two of above 50 degree temperatures.
Blessedly our warm-up began last week.
Clearly, she was fed up with me bugging her so she called a few days ago to say they would start on Thursday.
I did a happy dance, offered the builders coffee, a nosh, access to the bathrooms, anything they want to keep them happy and making progress.
We've been renovating since last April, and while it's been a labor of love... I'm ready to be finished.
I'm thrilled to hear the rumble of saws, drills, and hammers...those are the sounds of progress.
