Mummies At The Science Museum!
My youngest, Ruby, and I went to the Mummy Exhibit at the Science Museum this weekend. It was good; real mummies, interesting explanations, gross looking bones -- the exhibit had everything.
But she also had a blast in the rest of the museum. We are so lucky to have that kind of museum in the Twin Cities. Parking was a nightmare, as it was the boys state hockey tournament next door at the Xcel. But again, so lucky that we Minnesotans get behind that tournament and show up for the event.
On the way home, we stopped at the Home and Garden Show in Minneapolis. We loved the Tiny House Village. We barely had enough hours in the day to pack all the interesting, fun things to do in our hometown. We are lucky.
Friday night I met someone who grew up in NY (I grew up in NJ). We both agreed we don't want to move back. Minnesota is such a great place to raise kids and have a quality lifestyle, we both hope to never leave.
Maybe only an outsider can see all the positives about Minnesota, but I hope everyone realizes this state has it all wrapped up when it comes to the best place to call home.
