Joe Senser, Hannah Senser Take The Stand In Hit-And-Run Trial

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) --  Joe Senser was back on the stand Thursday in his wife Amy's hit-and-run trial.

Amy Senser never showed up to pick up their children from a concert the night Anousone Panthavong was struck and killed on Interstate 94 and Riverside Avenue.

On Thursday, Joe Senser testified that something like that wouldn't surprise him. Late Thursday afternoon the Senser's daughter and her friend also took the stand.

It was another emotional day in court as some of the most interesting testimony came from Hannah Senser, one of the couple's daughters, and her friend Madeline Hare. Those are two of the girls who were at the Katy Perry concert the night of the accident, and they were supposed to be picked up and brought home by Amy Senser.

Both girls had similar stories of getting ready to go to the concert that night, but it was after the concert was over and when they were trying to reach Amy Senser that their stories started to differ. Madeline Hare took the stand first, and in testimony said she remembered that Amy Senser "was just lost" that night in cell phone conversation.

Hannah Senser said in testimony that she didn't remember any of that taking place. She said that she never spoke to Amy Senser, but in the months since the accident she was informed that there was a fatal accident that night. Hannah Senser never discussed it with her family, and when asked why in testimony, she said "I guess I never wanted to know."

Hannah Senser also said in testimony that she was told in the days after the accident to pack a bag and that the family was going to stay in Stillwater. The girls were never given a reason why they were to stay in Stillwater.
