Jobs, Education Will Be Focus Of 2012 Legislative Session
ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- State lawmakers will be back in St. Paul Tuesday to get the 2012 legislative session rolling.
Both Democrats and Republicans have agreed to focus on growing jobs, improving education and strengthening the economy.
How they'll make those improvements aren't known yet, but they have a lot of ground to cover.
Lawmakers will also review Gov. Mark Dayton's newly announced $775-million bonding bill.
Another looming issue yet to be resolved: where and if the state will help build a new Minnesota Vikings stadium.
