Jerry Kill Back At Gophers Practice
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Gopher football coach Jerry Kill is continuing to amaze local football fans with his strength and wherewithal as he continues to battle a medical issue with seizures.
Kill left the Mayo Clinic on Wednesday and was back in the Twin Cities in time for the Gophers' practice at 3:30 p.m. The team will practice until around 5:30 or 6 p.m.
Kill had another seizure at his home Sunday morning after the Gophers lost 37-24 to North Dakota State the night before at TCF Bank Stadium. He had a visit to the Mayo Clinic already scheduled, but decided to check himself in on Sunday for further testing on what was causing the seizures.
It's unclear if Kill will travel to Ann Arbor for Saturday's game against Michigan, but his coaching staff said earlier this week they expect him to be on the sidelines.
