Jack Jablonski Heads To Prom With ESPN2's Michelle Beadle
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Since being paralyzed during a high school hockey game three years ago, Jack Jablonski has had many highs and lows.
Saturday night was most definitely a high.
Saturday was prom night at Benilde-St. Margaret's, and Jablonski's date is one of the co-hosts of SportsNation on ESPN2, Michelle Beadle.
Jack has been a fan of hers and he worked up the nerve to ask her out during a radio interview a few weeks ago.
She said yes and made the trip.
"I'm happy that the school actually allowed me because I know they're very, they've got some really good rules here. And, so it'll be fun. I get to go on a school bus. Hello, it's going to make me young again," Beadle said.
Earlier Saturday, Beadle tweeted that she was nervous as a 38-year-old getting ready for prom.
She wrote, "my hair will be slightly smaller and my bum slightly bigger."
