Interim Director Named At Northern Crops Institute
FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- The Northern Crops Institute has appointed John Crabtree as interim director while it conducts a nationwide search for a permanent director.
Crabtree has been assistant director of the institute at North Dakota State University.
Brian Sorenson resigned as director to join a private company.
The institute works to develop domestic and international markets for crops grown in the northern Plains. It is funded by North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota, as well as by commodity groups in those states and in Montana.
