Inmate Sentenced To Additional Time For Assault
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A 22-year-old inmate at a federal prison in Connecticut has been sentenced Thursday to nearly three more years of prison time for assaulting another inmate with a sock stuffed with two padlocks.
Patricia Brown, who's currently serving a 30-year sentence after being convicted of murder in 2009 in Minnesota, was sentenced in a Hartford court to an additional two years and seven months in prison for the May 2012 attack that left her fellow inmate in need of three stitches to her right ear.
She pleaded guilty in January to assault with a dangerous weapon.
The case was investigated by the FBI.
