Sheriff: Inmate, 56, Dies In Central Minnesota Jail
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in central Minnesota say a 56-year-old inmate died Sunday in the county jail.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office says George Edward Washington, of Willmar, was found unresponsive around 1:30 p.m. by correctional officers.
Efforts were made to revive Washington, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death remains under investigation.
