Imation Restructuring, Selling Headquarters In Oakdale
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Imation is planning to sell its Oakdale headquarters as part of a restructuring plan.
The security and data storage company's global headquarters are based in Oakdale. It also wants to sell its properties in Chile and Canada.
Officials with Imation told the Securities and Exchange Commission that it wants to end its non-European operations of its tape business called "Storage Media" and its Consumer Storage and Accessories business.
Imation officials say they are doing this as a result of continued losses.
