ICYMI: High School Sports Rally For June 6, 2014
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- With the school year winding down, the spring sports season is also coming to a close.
But that means there's plenty of playoff action, and plenty of champions to be crowned.
On Friday night, David McCoy went to Mankato, where he watched Maple Grove and Lakeville South battle for the Class 3A softball title.
Our photographers also captured the highlights at some of the biggest softball, tennis and track meet-ups in the state.
On top of that, Mike Max tells the story of a Maddy Green, a girl who found self confidence through a supportive school. After graduating from Groves Academy, she's on a mission to meet her biological mother in Brazil.
