I-94 Near Barnesville Reopens After Crash Involving Semis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say Interstate 94 in northwestern Minnesota was reopened to traffic Monday morning after a crash involving three semi-trucks.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation and Minnesota State Patrol said eastbound I-94 at Highway 34 near Barnesville was reopened at about 1:30 a.m. It had been closed after a big crash resulted in pigs getting loose that were being hauled in a semi.
Authorities are urging motorists to take it easy on the roads as they say slippery conditions likely caused the accident. The area saw snow over the weekend, making driving difficult on the highway.
