I-494 Closure May Cause Weekend Traffic Headaches
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It will be a busy traffic weekend in the metro.
The Minnesota Twins are in town and the Gophers have a football game at TCF Bank Stadium Saturday afternoon.
But the biggest traffic headache is going to be at Interstate 494 and Cedar Avenue.
MnDOT is shutting down both lanes at Highway 77 in Bloomington starting at 10 p.m. Friday, as crews remove the northbound bridge deck.
I-494 will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.
