Black Lives Matter Marches In St. Paul For Philip Quinn
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Around 300 people were expected in downtown St. Paul Saturday to attend a rally for Philip Quinn.
The 30-year-old Quinn was shot and killed by police on Sept. 24. Police were called to his home on Canton Street, but did not say why.
They left when they could not find Quinn. But later in the day, Quinn's mother called police saying he was schizophrenic, off his pill and trying to kill himself.
Quinn was eventually shot and killed by police.

Saturday's rally started at Snelling and University avenues around 1 p.m.
"When we come together -- when black, trans, queer, brown people all come together and show up for each other -- that's something they can't stop," one of the protesters said.
Protesters walked along the road and the light rail. They even went into several businesses like Target, Wal-Mart and Cub Foods.
