Hundreds 'Come On Down' For Price Is Right Contestant Search
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- Many were called and two will be chosen to hopefully hear their name called, to "come on down."
The rotunda at the Mall of America was the site Sunday for the "Price Is Right" contestant search. A large crowd of people who came prepared, hoping to become a contestant on the popular game show.
Two people will be chosen to fly from the Twin Cities to Los Angeles and be in the audience for an upcoming show.
"We've been watching since we were kids. I watch it at work every morning so I think it would be something fun, it would be like our bonding thing," Jenny from St. Paul said. "
"I wanted to be on the Price is Right all my life. It's a dream, a bucket list and I want do it so if it's going to be on my birthday I'm coming down and do it to celebrate it," Marsha Kramer of Brainerd said.
The "Price is Right" is the longest-running game show and network TV's No. 1-rated daytime series.
