Hudson Mom Faces Repeat Charge Of Abusing Daughter
HUDSON, Wis. (AP) -- A western Wisconsin woman who was convicted of abusing her 1-year-old daughter 13 years ago is now charged with depriving the same girl of food and clothing.
Thirty-six-year-old Elise L. Will and her husband, 37-year-old Jeremee C. Will are each charged with being party to the crimes of felony child abandonment and misdemeanor child neglect.
An Eau Claire Leader-Telegram report says police became aware of the 14-year-old girl in late July. That's when her grandmother called authorities to report the death of the couple's 6-week-old daughter.
Investigators saw the teen lying on the cement basement floor of her rural Hammond home. She told police she was often forced to sleep outside and go days without food.
Online court records didn't list defense attorneys for either person Friday.
