House Fire In Loretto Apparently Caused By Lightning

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A house in Loretto sustained minimal damage after catching fire early Wednesday morning.

According to reports, a house in the 100 block of Summit Avenue caught fire after it was apparently hit by lightning.

Upon arrival, crews were able to quell the fire quickly.

The 2nd alarm and all incoming trucks not on the scene were cancelled.

The house sustained no visible outside damage, but there was some smoke in the basement.
