MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota-made canned meat is now going to feed malnourished kids across the world.
Hormel Foods just released "Spammy," it's a specially made turkey spread that's packed with vitamins and minerals.
Hormel, which is based in Austin, Minn., has pledged to deliver over 1 million cans of "Spammy" to orphanages and family centers in Guatemala. They said it's all to feed malnourished children.
One of the organizations in Guatemala says the kids who have been eating "Spammy" are getting healthier.
