Homeless Youth In Minn. Face Uncertain Future

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Wilder Research estimates, that on any night in the state of Minnesota, 2,500 youth and young adults are homeless and unaccompanied by an adult.

In any year, 10,000 youth experience homelessness in Minnesota.

This week we're sharing stories about Youth in Crisis in this state. WCCO's Susie Jones begins with some of the most vulnerable.

Homeless Youth Part 1

Jones found a troubling recent Wilder Foundation study. It shows people under 21 now account for nearly half of Minnesota's 10,000 homeless sleeping in shelters every night.
