Home Starts On Fire For 2nd Time In 2 Weeks
MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (WCCO) -- Firefighters spent a good portion of the night putting out flames at a house that had already been gutted by fire.
The house is on the 12400 block of 88th Place North in Maple Grove.
Two weeks ago, crews were called out to put a fire that engulfed the home. And around 1 a.m. Friday, another fire somehow started and destroyed the second level of the house.
No one was home at the time of the latest fire because the family who lives there have been staying somewhere else since the first fire.
Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked the fire. They also said it is not clear if the utilities were turned off.
