Some painted their faces…others took Wild colors to another level.

"It just gets you in the right mood to cheer loud," said Kent Weyrauch. "I want to take control of the game. That's why I'm here, so I want to make sure the players see me, I want to make sure other fans see me and they get excited too."

Die-hard fans say they'll do whatever it takes to help the team. Steve Cassidy brought his replica Stanley Cup.

"It's been good luck in the past and hopefully it will bring us good luck this series," said Cassidy.

Fans think having home ice advantage and mega fans in the stands will make the difference.

"Seeing as though we're at home we have a lot more energy behind us and we're going to kick some butt," said one fan.

One #PorterSupporter came from Thunder Bay, Ontario to watch her uncle play.

"I hope they win," said young fan Grace. "I left school early just to see."

Wild fans hope their encouragement will give the team momentum to keep skating toward the cup.

"If the series ain't done, the series ain't done and that's all that matters. Winning is always possible so I'm going to believe in them no matter what," Weyrauch said.

The Wild won 5-3 Monday night, so it looks like these fans' efforts weren't wasted.
