Hoigaard's Bought Out By Colorado Retailer
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A popular Twin Cities outdoor gear and clothing store has been bought by a Colorado company.
Hoigaard's in St. Louis Park is now owned by Specialty Sports Venture - a retail division of Vail Resorts.
The new owners say Hoigaard's has a stellar reputation, and they're thrilled to be adding the store to its retail family.
In 1960 the store became one of the first Midwest ski shops.
The Hoigaard's name will stay, and President Todd Brewer will remain with the company.
