Highway 7 Reopens After Tank Accident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A major highway in the western Twin Cities has reopened Thursday morning.
Highway 7 closed Wednesday morning after a semi carrying a massive tank lost its load in Victoria.
According to the state patrol, the commercial vehicle carrying a 368,000-pound tank lost its load shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The road was closed until early Thursday as officials worked to build a crane to lift the tank onto a new trailer.
Investigators are working to determine why the load shifted and fell off the truck. But, the road is reopen to drivers.
