Highway 52 Lane Closures Planned Near Cannon Falls

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Drivers near Cannon Falls may experience delays next week.

On Tuesday, March 15, lane closures will begin on Highway 52 just north of Cannon Falls. Crews will be removing guard structures and other barriers for the CapX2020 powerline project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Lanes in both directions will be closed near Dakota County Road 86 beginning at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The highway will remain open during the work. Only select lanes will be affected.

If weather postpones the work, it will be rescheduled for Wednesday, March 16.
