Hwy 52 Reopens After Crews Make Emergency Repairs
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Highway 52 in St. Paul has been reopened after emergency repairs were completed on the roadway.
Officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation said the northbound lanes of Highway 52 between Concord Avenue and I-94 would close Wednesday afternoon. The closure was so crews could make emergency repairs to pavement around a storm sewer catch basin north of Plato Boulevard.
MnDOT officials said that stretch of highway had already been down to one lane because of bridge construction.
The roadway was reopened to traffic at 3:30 p.m.
