Heavy Rains Cause Central Minnesota Flooding
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- Some cars became stalled in St. Cloud as heavy rains caused street flooding in parts of the city.
St. Cloud police Sgt. Lloyd Orth says officers had to deal with about 15 vehicles that stalled in high water Tuesday.
Orth says some water was as deep as two feet and in some instances went halfway up the doors on passenger cars.
Tow trucks removed the cars. No one was hurt.
The St. Cloud Times reports flooding in low-lying areas of central Minnesota as rains moved through the area.
