HCMC Breaks Ground On $220M Expansion
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Hennepin County Medical Center has broken ground on its largest expansion in history.
The $220 million clinic building will house 40 clinics and specialty services ranging from surgery to cancer treatments.
Those services are currently available in several locations across downtown Minneapolis.
The second part of Thursday's ceremony showed off the hospital's new helipad. It is located on the roof of the emergency department and ICU.
