Harycki Resigns As Stillwater Mayor
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The mayor of Stillwater stepped down Friday afternoon.
Former mayor Ken Harycki posted on his Facebook page that he did not intend to run for a third term as mayor back in May.
According to a report in the Stillwater Gazette, Harycki resigned to focus on personal issues.
City council member Ted Kozlowski was elected as the new mayor on Tuesday. He will take over in January.
Prior to Kozlowski, Harycki's vice mayor will serve on an interim basis.
