Halfway To 16-0? Perfect Packers Face Vikings
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers are halfway to 16-0 going into Monday night's game against Minnesota, close enough to start pondering perfection and far enough away that such talk hasn't yet become taboo.
Packers linebacker Desmond Bishop remembers watching the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts' recent attempts to emulate the 1972 Miami Dolphins' perfect run through the Super Bowl. Bishop isn't shy about wanting the Packers to take a shot at an undefeated season, but says the only way to do so is to approach every game the same.
Vikings defensive end Jared Allen wants to end all such talk Monday night, saying, "they have to play us first."
