$h*! ... Minnesota Ranks High For Swearing At Work
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new survey finds four-letter words could impact your professional image more than you think.
According to a new survey from Career Builder, 57 percent of employers said they'd be less likely to promote someone who uses salty language.
More than half of those surveyed said the use of foul language makes a worker seem less intelligent.
The survey also ranked cities by their foul mouths. Minneapolis was ranked seventh among cities, with 50 percent of workers saying they swear at work.
The top city for swearing was Washington D.C., followed by Denver and Chicago.
