Grand Rapids Kmart Evacuated After Bomb Threat
GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. (WCCO) - A Kmart in Grand Rapids was evacuated Saturday afternoon after a bomb threat, according to police.
At 2:10 p.m., Grand Rapids Police responded to a reported bomb threat at the Kmart at 1111 Pokegama Ave. S. after employees received a call from someone claiming to have left a bomb somewhere in the store.
Police closed, evacuated and thoroughly searched the store. Employees and customers were eventually allowed re-entry.
Grand Rapids Police are continuing to investigate the threat.
