Governor's Deer Opener Heads To Winona
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — This year's annual governor's deer-hunting opener will be in Winona.
Gov. Mark Dayton will host a range of activities starting Nov. 2 to highlight the money that deer-hunting moves through the state economy. The firearms season opens Saturday, Nov. 3.
The tradition of the governor's deer opener was begun by former Gov. Tim Pawlenty. This year's is the 10th annual.
