Gophers Football Gets Commitments From 2 Top Targets
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- As the University of Minnesota football team gets ready to play in the Quick Lane Bowl on Dec. 28, head coach Tracy Claeys got a pair of verbal commitments from a couple top recruiting targets on Sunday.
WCCO's Mike Max has confirmed that quarterback Seth Green said Sunday he has committed to play football at Minnesota next fall. Green had been a star quarterback at East Ridge before transferring to play his senior season of high school in Allen, Texas.
Green had originally given a verbal commitment to play at Oregon, but decided to switch after a change in the coaching staff. He made the announcement official on Twitter on Sunday.
