MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The University of Minnesota men's basketball team will host Clemson in the 2015 ACC/Big Ten Challenge, officials announced Wednesday.
The Gophers will host the Tigers at Williams Arena on Monday, Nov. 30. The game time and television broadcast information will be released at a later date. All 14 games for the ACC/Big Ten challenge will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.
The marquee games for the annual match-up between the two leagues include Maryland at North Carolina, Virginia at Ohio State, Indiana at Duke, Louisville at Michigan State and Wisconsin at Syracuse.
Minnesota is coming off a disappointing 18-15 season, Richard Pitino's second as head coach, where the Gophers didn't qualify for either the NCAA Tournament or the NIT. Clemson is coming off a 16-15 season, including an 8-10 record in ACC play.
