Gopher Women's Basketball Releases 2015-16 Non-Conference Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- University of Minnesota women's basketball coach Marlene Stollings released the team's 2015-16 non-conference schedule on Tuesday.
The schedule is highlighted by the Gophers playing�� in the San Juan Shootout in Puerto Rico over Thanksgiving weekend and a road match-up at Duke On Dec. 3.
The Gophers home opener is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 13 against Wofford. One week later, Minnesota will host Maine at 7 p.m. at Williams Arena. The Gophers will also host five straight home games from Dec. 6 to Dec. 28 before they start their Big Ten Conference schedule.
Stollings is entering her second season as Gophers' head coach after leading Minnesota to an NCAA Tournament berth last season. She'll have senior guard Rachel Banham back after the preseason Big Ten Player of the Year suffered a torn knee ligament early last year.
